The series went on the air after Beverly Hills, 90210 in the 1994-1995 season and did not have much success in the ratings. Although the project aroused media interest due to the presence of the Dallas star Linda Gray [3] [4] , ratings fell throughout the season. The show did not save and the appearance of Emma Samms from the " Dynasty " in the offseason - in the spring of 1995 the channel closed the project [5] .

Synopsis

The show revolved around Hilary Michaels ( Linda Gray ), the mother of Amanda Woodward of Melrose Place , who ran an elite modeling agency in Los Angeles [2] . The Model Agency was created by Charles Pratt Jr. and produced by Aaron Spelling. [4]

The series ended with a cliffhanger, which was supposed to resolve in the second season. A year later, the channel “E! Entertainment ”arranged a re-show of the show with an alternative ending, in which all the storylines were closed, except for the abduction of Carrie [2] .
