OOO Prometey is a universal telecom operator that provides communication services under the Prometey brand. The company was founded in 2004 and provides telecommunications services in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region. Prometey owns its own fiber-optic network with a radial-ring topology with a length of more than 1200 km. The office is located in St. Petersburg . General Director - Roman Venediktov Ellievich [1] .

History
- 2004 - foundation of the company.
- 2005 - the company’s office was opened in St. Petersburg.
- 2006 - the beginning of the construction of its own fiber optic network.
- 2007 - Carpet coverage in the Central and Admiralty districts of St. Petersburg.
- 2008 - the construction of the network in the Petrograd district of St. Petersburg was completed. Appeared own numbering capacity. The conclusion of a partnership agreement with CJSC Computer Network Interaction Center.
- 2009 - A new doctrine of technical development of the company was adopted. Replaced the kernel ( Juniper MX240 ). Work was done to reserve the network core at two geographically remote nodes. A number of major socially significant projects for universities of St. Petersburg have been implemented [2] .
- 2010 - commercial launch of its own multi-service 10 Gb / s network [3] . Launch of access points in Stockholm and Frankfurt . The construction of communication lines in the Vasileostrovsky district of St. Petersburg has been completed. Updated company website [4] . The department of home networks - Prometey home [5] has been opened. LLC Prometey opens a new direction of activity - the provision of communication services to individuals [6] .
- 2011 - construction of communication lines in the Primorsky district was completed. A new online service for corporate clients has been launched [7] . The transaction on the purchase of the Canrit telecom operator, which provided telecommunications services in St. Petersburg, was completed [8] .
- 2012 - construction of communication lines in the Kalinin, Vyborg and Lomonosov districts of St. Petersburg was completed. Two IT companies were purchased: ZeroSupport LLC and Alt-Service LLC, on the basis of which an IT outsourcing department was formed [9] .
- 2013 - the department of home networks of the company covers most of the areas of the city of St. Petersburg. The company launches a number of socially significant projects as part of the urban project "Wi-Fi in the urban environment." The company provides the organization of free wi-fi zones in museums, theaters and parks of St. Petersburg.
- 2014 - the construction of a new segment of the home network in the Leningrad Region is completed, the company begins to provide cable television broadcasting services, a new service for developers and housing and communal services appears - access to RASCO and UVO signals.
- 2015 - open connection to the Digital TV service. The start of sales is scheduled for March 2015.
Services Provided
The company provides corporate clients with Internet access services ( broadband Internet , organization of a Wi-Fi zone (hot-spot), as well as telephone services (digital telephony, virtual telephone exchange , selling numbers). For telecom operators, the company offers Internet via BGP . The list of basic services of the telecom operator Prometey also includes the organization of unified closed corporate networks (data transmission channels) and IT outsourcing. Additional services include: virtual hosting , Collocation and site support.
