Biography

He graduated from the Infantry Cadet School in Austria-Hungary in 1913. After the First World War he moved to Yugoslavia, entering the service in the Yugoslav army. From December 1942, he fought as part of the partisan forces, held the position of chief of staff of the 4th operational zone in Croatia and the 9th Dalmatian division, later at the headquarters of NOAJ, the headquarters of NOAJ in Croatia (was also the head of the officer school) and the 8th Dalmatian army corps. After the war, he held various positions in the General Staff of NOAU. He was awarded the Order of Merit for the People and the Brotherhood and Unity with golden wreaths, as well as a number of other awards. His son Velimir was the first commander of the NLAU naval forces.
