The Winchester Model 88 rifle appeared in 1955. Technically, it is a magazine gun with manual reloading. The rifle has a streamlined shape and a one-piece panel, one-piece pistol-shaped bed. It has a front rotary shutter with three warheads, lateral ejection of cartridges, a short lever, a fuse with a locking mechanism and four removable removable box magazine.
About 20 years were produced, during which about 285,000 copies were produced, in 1973 the production was discontinued.
