Kienzheim

Kientzheim ( fr. Kientzheim ) - abolished commune in the north-east of France in the region of Alsace - Champagne - Ardenne - Lorraine , department of the Upper Rhine , district Colmar - Riboville , canton of Saint-Marie-o-Min [1] . Until March 2015, the commune was administratively part of the abolished canton of Kaisersberg ( Riboville County). It was abolished and merged with the Kaisersberg and Sigolsheim communes into the new Kaisersberg-Vinoble commune on January 1, 2016 on the basis of Administrative Act No. 27 of July 17, 2015 [2] .

The area of ​​the commune is 4.83 km², the population is 794 people [3] [4] (2006) with a downward trend: 729 people [5] (2012), the population density is 151.0 people / km².

Economics

In 2007, an average of 499 people of working age (15-64 years old), 382 were economically active, 117 were inactive (activity indicator 76.6%, in 1999 it was 64.0%). Of the 382 active able-bodied 359 people (187 men and 172 women), 23 were unemployed (7 men and 16 women).
