Philippe Landry ( French: Philippe Landry ) - Canadian French-speaking playwright and actor (mainly in the comic genre). A resident of Ottawa , Canada . The drama “Return to Pripyat”, dedicated to the Chernobyl syndrome - the experiences of the former liquidator of the accident [1] , was included in the list of finalists of the Rideau Prize (theater prize of the National Capital Region of Canada) [2] .

Biography
He studied at the theater department of the University of Ottawa . Already during his studies, he played in numerous productions on the campus, including for the general public.
The main role is a comedian actor. In this capacity he performed in the plays “Conference of the Birds” (La Conférence des oiseaux), “Turkaré (Turcaret),“ Wojcieck “(Woyzeck),“ Friends ”(Les Amis, staged by the Comédies des Deux-Rives theater),“ Qiwi ”( Kiwi, production of the Théâtre Jeunesse en Tête theater, Lose the Farce (Perdre la Farce), Warriors (Les Guerriers), Adventures of Zozote (les Z'aventures de Zozote), Tales of the Moon (Contes de la Lune , production of the Théâtre de Dehors theater), Ik Onkar Laboratory (le laboratoire Ik Onkar, production of the Théâtre la Catapulte theater). To many of these productions, he also developed soundtracks.
He also played on the Franco-Ontario television series Fifti Fifti (Moitié-Moitié) on TFO.
“Return to Pripyat”
Also, more recently, Philip Landry gained fame as a playwright. The play “Return to Pripyat”, staged by the Théâtre de Dehors troupe as part of the Ottawa Festival Fringe Festival in 2011, was nominated for the Achievement of the Year Award for the 2012 Rideau Prize [3] , and was later presented in French Ontario Theater Festival "Living Leaves" (Les Feuilles Vives). The play, dedicated to the psychological trauma of the former liquidator of the Chernobyl accident , brought him fame in Ukraine [1] .
Currently, Philip is writing the second edition of “Return to Pripyat” with the participation of the Quebec playwright Michel Wellet ( fr: Michel Ouellette ).
