Lori Norwood ( born Lori Norwood ; July 30, 1964) is an American athlete performing in the modern pentathlon . World champion, winner of the first Goodwill Games , multiple winner and medalist of international competitions.

In 1986, Lori Norwood took the 12th place in the individual championship at the World Championships in Montecatini, however, she was found to be exposed to doping. Also on the doping were other penguins: Tatyana Chernetskaya (USSR, 3rd place), Svetlana Yakovleva (USSR, 4th place). According to the results of the doping analysis, the UIMBB decided to remove the above-mentioned athletes from participating in international competitions for 30 months and cancel their results at the VI World Championship.
