Biography
She was born in 1892 in the Livonia province (modern Latvia) of the Russian Empire , in the family of a poor peasant farm laborer .
In 1905, she joined the revolutionary movement. Participant in the legendary assault on the Winter Palace [2] .

In the 1920s, he was an employee of the criminal investigation department of the Kingisepp police, and since 1923, he was the head of the Kingisepp county threat department. She was the first woman - the head of the police department. The unit headed by her in a short time became one of the best.
In 1929, she was personally appointed S.M. Kirov as the chief of the 11th police department of the city of Leningrad .

In 1933, among the group of the first Soviet women, she was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor . Marked with the sign " Honorary Worker of the Workers 'and Peasants' Police ".
