Buiruh and Khuduha send a storm to the army of Genghis Khan

The first mentions of Khudukh-beks in the Secret Legend of the Mongols refer to 1201 , when a number of rulers of Mongolian tribes, including the Oirats, swore allegiance to Jamuq and elected him as a gurkhan , pledging to fight against Genghis Khan. During the battle in the Koyten tract, along with the Naiman Buyuruk Khan, Khuduh-Beki tried to send a storm to the army of Genghis Khan, but she suddenly turned against them, and because of the hurricane and storm that had risen, the Jamuqa allies suffered heavy losses [2] .

Subsequently, Genghis Khan defeated Jamuqa and the Naimans, but the Oirats of Khudukh-bek by the time of the formation of the Mongol Empire in 1206 were not yet conquered. Nevertheless, when in 1207, Genghis Khan gave his eldest son Jochi an order to subdue the so-called. “Forest peoples”, Khudukha-beki was one of the first to obey. According to the available written evidence (“The Secret Legend of the Mongols”, § 239) “For the fact that Oirat Khuduha-Beki first came out to meet Jocia with an expression of submissiveness, together with his Oirats, the sovereign granted him and passed off for his son, Inalchi, princess Checheugen , The princess Oluykhan issued Torelchi for his brother Inalchiyev ” [3] (according to Rashid ad-Din, Checheigen [4] was issued for Torelchi-gurgen).

According to the assumptions of pseudo-explorers, the so-called “Mongolian” cluster of the haplogroup R2a-M124, common among the Mongols, Kalmyks and Arabs of the Middle East, is associated with the descendants of Khudukh-bek [5] .
