Biography
A graduate of the Higher Normal School in Saint-Cloud ( 1985 ), in 1989 he defended a dissertation in philosophy at the Higher School of Social Sciences under the supervision of Jacques Derrida . Since 1995 he taught philosophy at the University of Nantes . Author of articles on aesthetics and poetics. Collaborates with modern composers ( Gerard Pesson and others).

Beck's books have been translated into a number of languages, including Chinese and Korean.
