Gorokhovo is a village in the Glebovsky rural settlement of the Rybinsk District of the Yaroslavl Region [1] .
The village is located at a distance of about 1 km north-west from the center of the rural settlement of the village of Glebovo . It is located on the high (about 15 m) right bank of the Volga ( Rybinsk Reservoir ), and stretches between the Glebovo- Paskhkovo road and the Volga bank along the northern edge of a deep ravine forming a small bay. On the opposite southern edge of the ravine is the village of Zakharino . North, down the Volga at a distance of about 1 km is the village of Mostovo [2] .
The village of Gorokhov is indicated on the plan of the General Survey of Rybinsk district in 1792. On the plan, the stream flowing along the ravine is called Gorokhovsky.
As of January 1, 2007, there were 9 permanent residents in the village [3] . The village is actively used for holiday home. The village is served by the Glebovo post office, according to postal data there are 52 houses in the village, there are no street names [4] .
