Kozlov, Andrey Igorevich

In 1977 he graduated from the Perm Medical Institute with a degree in “doctor (medical business)”. In 1977 - 1981, he worked as a general practitioner in hospitals in Perm and the Perm Region . ^[one]

In 1981 - 1984 he worked as an assistant at the Department of Anatomy and Physiology of the Perm Pedagogical Institute and led a seminar on functional anatomy and sports anthropology. In 1984 - 1987 he worked as an assistant at the Department of Topographic Anatomy and Operative Surgery at the Perm Medical Institute and conducted a seminar on topographic anatomy. In 1986 he defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of medical sciences . ^[one]

In 1987 - 1992 he was the head of the laboratory of medical anthropology of the Tyumen State Medical Institute . He lectured in medical anthropology and led a seminar on human anatomy. ^[one]

Since 1991 - Scientific Director of the ArktAn-S Innovation Laboratory (Moscow). ^[one]

In 1996 - 2005 - professor of the Department of Human Ecology of the International Independent Ecological and Political University , since 2005 - head of the same department. ^[one]

Since 1999 - Head of the Sula Lab Laboratory ( Balchik , Bulgaria ). ^[one]

In 2004 he defended his thesis for the degree of Doctor of Biological Sciences on the topic "Lactase deficiency (primary hypolactasia) in various groups of the population of Eurasia." ^[one]

Head of the Laboratory of the Institute of Age Physiology of the Russian Academy of Education (since 2005 ). ^[one]

Leading researcher at the Center for the Traditional Culture of Nature Management of the Russian Research Institute of Cultural and Natural Heritage named after D. S. Likhachev . ^[2]

Guest lecturer at the University of Calabria (Rende, Italy, 2000-2006) and the University of Oulu (Finland, 2004). The main disciplines taught: human ecology, nutrition ecology, adaptive pressure and stress during “modernization”.

Since 2008 - Member of the Editorial Board of the journal International journal of circumpolar health (USA). ^[3]

The author of more than 100 scientific papers, including 11 monographs.

His research interests include anthropology of nutrition, the impact of “modernization” on health, the impact of socio-economic and environmental stressors on indigenous and migrant populations, and physical anthropology. ^[one]
