Afghanistan Football Federation (AFF) is the highest governing body for football in Afghanistan . The AFF organizes the Afghanistan Football Championship and is responsible for recruiting and organizing the country's national football team. The Federation was founded in 1922 . He is a member of FIFA since 1948 and the Asian Confederation of Football since 1954 . Football in Afghanistan began to develop more actively after the fall of the Taliban regime in 2001 .
