Life outside figure skating
In parallel with figure skating, Ruben was also engaged in figure skating on roller skates and achieved great success there. She became the bronze medalist of the European Championship (1979) and twice was the bronze medalist of the world championships (1979 and 1980).
She is the mother of two daughters.
