Paviyani ( divehi : ޕަ ވިޔަނި ) - the twenty-fourth letter of the Maldivian script ( tana ), denotes a deaf labial-lip explosive consonant. According to the generally accepted opinion, the graphic prototype of the letters of the bogeyman and fafu was one of the spelling variants of the Starosingala number 2 (two).
