Professional career

Bandrage made his professional debut in September 1995. In February 2005, won the UBA intercontinental title.

May 6, 2005 entered the ring with an undefeated American, Seoul Powell (15-0), and lost to him by knockout in the first round.

At the beginning of 2006, he won 2 points by points, Michael Clark (35-3) and Walter Wright (11-1), and then lost by points to Steve Forbes (31-3).

In July 2007, he lost by knockout to Colombian Jola Julio (31-1).

In March 2008, he won on points by a boxer from Colombia, a former champion, Kasimm Ouma (25-4-1). The next match was lost by a separate decision of the judges in the IBO eliminator, Grady Brever , and then went to Germany, and knocked out an undefeated Russian boxer, Zaurbek Baysangurov (19-0).

In 2009, he went out with another undefeated boxer, an Israeli, Yuri Forman in the IBF eliminator. As a result of an accidental clash of heads in the third round, and the inability to continue the fight by Foreman, the fight was declared invalid.

Despite the official outcome of the fight, Cornelius entered the fray with IBF champion Cory Spinks (37-5). Bandrage defeated by knockout, and became the new champion.

In 2011, he defended the title against Session Powell (26-2), and in 2012 he met again with Corey Spinks and knocked him out again, this time in the 7th round [1] [2] .

In 2013, he lost the title on points to an American, Isha Smith . On October 11, 2014, Cornelius Bundrage defeated Carlos Molina and again won the IBF world title.
