Selected by the Cardinals in the 38th round of the 2007 draft. June 12, signed a contract with the club. Passed all the teams of the organization, combining a good percentage of repulsing with excellent speed and actions in the fielding.

September 6, 2011 summoned to Major League Baseball. On this day, he came out as a pinch runner in a duel against the Brewers ^[1] . On September 16, in a duel against the Phillies , he hit the bat for the second time in his career, with a pinch hit, knocked out the first hit, which brought the first RBI and put the Cardinals ahead in the 11th inning ^[2] . In the same season, he participated in the Series of Divisions and Series of the League, where, leaving a pinch hit, knocked out one RBI in each. He was on the bench during the seventh World Series match, where the Cardinals celebrated their victory and won the title.

In 2012, he was in limbo between the Major League and Major League Baseball. He went out mainly with a pinch runner in the endings of matches because of his high speed. He takes part in the postseason, where he goes to the outfield in the end of matches for reliability of fishing.
