In October 2012, Zaurbek Baysangurov entered the ring with a mandatory challenger, interim champion, Czech, Lukasz Konecny. The first round came out with a slight advantage for Lukas, but at the end of the round, Zaur succeeded in a small successful series of punches. At the beginning of the second round, of course, I had a very strong right-hand cross that slightly shocked Baysangurov. The ending was also bright from the side of both boxers, with the exchange of blows in the short range. The third round was also in an open fight with a slight advantage to the challenger. In the fourth round, Baysangurov leveled the fight, reducing the advantage of the Czech. In the fifth round, Lukas again took the initiative, advanced more and delivered accurate blows. In the sixth round, the Czech further consolidated the initiative of the owner of the ring. Although tougher but less frequent attacks of the champion, they also achieved their goals. At the end of the seventh round, Lukash’s fatigue began to manifest itself, and Baysangurov spent the end of the seventh round with a successful series that shocked Konechny, and before the gong Lukas unsuccessfully tried to take revenge for the missed series. The eighth round was just as bright and open, but Konechna’s advantage despite his speed was no longer noticeable. he seemed to have exhausted himself for the first half of the battle. The ninth round was again open with a bargain. Zaur missed a lot, but looked fresh and cheerful. The ending of the round ended with a successful attack by a Chechen boxer. In the tenth round, Zaur made several successful attacks and was more convincing than the Czech challenger. The eleventh round went the same way with the advantage of Baysangurov, who took an open battle with Lukash Konechny. At the beginning of the final round, Zaur cut his left eyebrow, and in the middle of the round the referee stopped the fight, but the doctor did not object to continue the fight. Until the end of the fight, Baysangurov controlled the fight and confidently took the round. After the gong, both boxers triumphantly raised their hands. The referee's decision did not confirm the brilliance of the battle and the Czech dominance in the initial rounds, but given the state of both boxers at the end of the battle, the advantage and dominance of the Russian was obvious. Baysangurov defended his world title in a heavy battle [2] [3] [4] .
On March 23, 2013, Konecny defeated Frenchman Karim Achor on points.
