Diocese of the Sarh ( lat. Dioecesis Sarhensis ) - Diocese of the Roman Catholic Church with a center in the city of Sarh , Chad . The Diocese of Sarh extends its jurisdiction to the Middle Shari and Mandul regions . The diocese of the Sarch is included in the metropolitan N'Djamena . The Cathedral of the Diocese of Sarch is the Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the city of Sarh.

Content
History
On September 22, 1961, Pope John XXIII issued the bull “Latissimas Ecclesias” , which established the diocese of Fort Arshambolt, separating it from the apostolic prefecture of Fort Lamy (today - the Archdiocese of N'Djamena ).
On August 22, 1972, the diocese of Fort Arshambolt was renamed the diocese of the Sarch.
On December 1, 2001, the Diocese of the Sarh transferred part of its territory for the construction of the new Apostolic Prefecture of Mongo (today, the Apostolic Vicariate of Mongo).
