Description
Appearance
Body length 29–35 cm. It is elongated and squat. Paws are short, five-fingered. On the forepaws, the 2nd and 3rd fingers are fused to two-thirds of their length. The length of the tail is 24-29 cm, it is flattened laterally, with keels on top and bottom.
Distribution and habitat
Distributed in Equatorial Africa , its western and central parts. They live along the shores of reservoirs. Lead, as a rule, semi-aquatic lifestyle.
