Evgeny Evgenievich Alekseevsky ( March 7 (20), 1906 - January 3, 1979 ) - Soviet statesman and economic figure. Member of the Central Committee of the CPSU since 1971, candidate for member of the Central Committee of the CPSU (1966-1971). Member of the Council of Nationalities of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of 7–9 convocations (1966–1979) from the Turkmen SSR [1] [2] [3] . He was elected to the Supreme Council of the 9th convocation from Mary city constituency No. 435 of the Turkmen SSR [3] .

Biography
In 1950 he graduated in absentia from the Ukrainian Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
- 1921-1922 - food inspector of the county food committee.
- 1922-1924 - student of the Faculty of Labor at Voronezh University.
- 1924-1925 - Deputy Secretary of the Novokhopersky Ucom of the Komsomol .
- 1925-1929 - Member of the Presidium of the Central Asian Bureau of the Komsomol Central Committee .
- 1929-1932 - Deputy Secretary, Secretary of the Kurgan-Tyube District Communist Party of Tajikistan.
- 1932-1934 - Deputy Commissar of Agriculture, then Deputy Commissar of Water Economy of the Tajik SSR.
- 1934-1935 - Head of the Political Department of MTS, Moscow Region .
- 1935-1937 - Head of the Kalinin Regional Land Administration.
- 1937 - head of the agricultural department of the Kalinin regional committee of the CPSU (b).
- 1937-1939 - arrested by the NKVD.
- 1939-1940 - head of the agricultural department of the Kalinin regional committee of the CPSU (b).
- 1940-1941 - People's Commissar of Agriculture of the Tajik SSR.
- 1941-1946 - commissar and chief of the political department of the 17th Guards. (20th Mountain) Cavalry Division. Member of the battles on the Western, Bryansk, 1st Belorussian fronts.

- 1958-1960 - Head of the Main Directorate of Water Resources under the Council of Ministers of the Ukrainian SSR.
- 1960-1963 - Chairman of the State Committee of the Council of Ministers of the Ukrainian SSR on water management.
- 1963-1965 - Chairman of the State Committee on Irrigated Agriculture and Water Management under the USSR State Planning Commission - Minister of the USSR.
Since 1965 - Minister of Land Reclamation and Water Resources of the USSR.
