TB-2 - Soviet heavy bomber . Structurally, it was made according to the scheme of a half-plan (a biplane with a different area of bearing surfaces). Development began in 1927, the first tests took place in 1930. Although the TB-2 flight performance was higher than that of the Tupolev -built TB-1 , the aircraft was declared obsolete and the project was closed.
