Duplovo is located 17 km north-west of the Istra regional center and in the immediate vicinity (on the outskirts of the village) from the Kursakovskaya railway platform of the Riga direction , on the left bank of the Molodilnya river, 216 m above sea level [3] .

History
There is an entry for 1710 (RGADA. F.350. Op. 1. D.253) 1710: A book of Moscow is written: “Goretov, Surozhsky and Bokhova stani: fairy tales, rewrite to the stolnik Ivan Olexiyovich Posnikov (L. 342) of the 1710th Serpnya on the 11th day ... p_dpol.kol. Mikhail Samsonovich Bogdanov, the headman ... having said behind the patrimony evo in the Moscow region in Surozky, I will become a resident of Duplevo. "
In the XVI — XVIII centuries, Duplovo was part of the Surozhsky camp of the Moscow district , in 1782-1796 - in the Resurrection district and then in Novopetrovsky volost of the Ruza district in the Moscow province . Under Soviet rule, from 1922, the village was part of the new Voskresensky district , from June 3, 1929 as part of the Voskresensky district of the Moscow region [4] .
