History
The Saratov-Ilovlya railway was built in 1942 as part of the Volga Rokada . The Zakharovka exit was opened in the same 1942 on the Ilovlya - Petrov Val section of this railway. [1] During the construction of the section from Ilovli to Petrov Val, rails, sleepers and other equipment brought from the head section of the construction of the Baikal-Amur Railway were used , the construction of which was temporarily stopped after the start of World War II . [3]
In 2001, an electrification of 25 kV alternating current was carried out on a section of the Petrov Val - Kolotsky railway. [2]
By the end of 2007, the laying of second tracks was completed along the entire Volga Rokada from Syzran to Volgograd, which took several years. [4] After laying the second path, the need for a trip to Zakharovka disappeared. Track development was eliminated, after which Zakharovka actually became a stopping point on the Zenzevat - Solodcha stage. At the same time, Zakharovka was not officially transferred to the category of stopping points, remaining in the documents of Russian Railways in the rank of a trip opened according to paragraph 3 of Tariff Guide No. 4 for boarding / disembarking passengers on local and suburban trains. [5] Passenger landing platforms at the time of the dismantling of track development no longer existed. The exact time of their disassembly is unknown. Due to the lack of passenger platforms, all trains, including suburban, follow through Zakharovka without stopping. On the official scheme of circulation of suburban trains in the Volgograd region of the Volga Railway, Zakharovka is absent. [6]
