Biography

In 1975 he graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) of the USSR Ministry of Foreign Affairs ; speaks English, French and Italian. PhD in Political Science .

Since 1975, he worked in various diplomatic posts in the central apparatus of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and abroad.

1994-1996 - Director of the Personnel Department of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
November 25, 1996 - December 15, 1999 - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Denmark ^[1] ^[2] .
2000-2005 - Deputy Director of the Fourth Department of the CIS countries of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
November 2005 - September 26, 2012 - Director of the Department for Work with Compatriots Abroad of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Since September 26, 2012 - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Serbia ^[3] .
