Biography
After graduating from high school in Gabrovo , in 1872-1878 he studied at the Medical and Surgical Academy in St. Petersburg (now the Military Medical Academy named after S. M. Kirov ).
While studying at the academy in 1876, as a paramedic of the sanitary detachment of the Russian Red Cross, he took part in the Serbian-Turkish war (1876-1877) .
Member of the Russian-Turkish war (1877-1878) . Since August 1877 - paramedic and translator of the 10th squad of the Bulgarian militia. In 1878 - worked in a Russian hospital in Gabrovo.
After graduating from the St. Petersburg Academy, from May 1878 he was a military doctor of the 1st artillery regiment. In 1880, he was transferred to the reserve.
In 1880-1881 he worked as a hygienist in Sofia, after - as a district doctor in Gabrovo.
In 1884 he defended his doctoral dissertation at the Imperial Military Medical Academy of St. Petersburg .
Since July 1881 - doctor of the 1st squad of the Bulgarian militia, then again appointed senior doctor of the 1st artillery regiment. In 1893 - lieutenant colonel of the sanitary service.
Since 1900 - Colonel, head of the sanitary inspection of the Ministry of War of Bulgaria. From 1904 to 1910 - head of the military sanitary service and chief military doctor of the Bulgarian kingdom.
In 1907-1909 - member of the Main Directorate of the Bulgarian Red Cross.
In 1910, he was awarded the rank of Major General of the Sanitary Service with discharge to the reserve.
In 1912-1913 he served as deputy chief of the military sanitary service of the Ministry of War of the Third Bulgarian Kingdom .
