The Russian “Memorable Book” for 1904 states the following: “Order of pure gold in the form of a star with 8 short rays, covered with enamel ornament. In the middle of the circle, in the center of which are four diamonds, arranged in the form of a triangle, meaning the letter“ A ", Under it in a small circle the number" three "in the form of three Arab ones. The figure is surrounded by diamonds. Around the signature" Order Iskander Salis of the capital city of Noble Bukhara ".

For a long time, the signs of the “Sun of Alexander” order were not known to science, but by the assumption of IG Spassky , who relies on the photo of the emir in his research, the order star was worn on the right side of the chest.

I. V. Mozheiko gives more detailed information about the signs of the order of Iskander-Salis: the golden clasp to the order was also made in the form of a triangle, surrounded by an enamel ornament, the ribbon was dark red with a white stripe in the middle. However, opinions about the color of the tape diverge. According to some sources, it is dark red in color with a white stripe in the middle, according to others - blue.
