About the album
Uh Huh Her is Harveyβs first album, not counting the 4-Track Demos collection of demos, on which she plays all instruments except the drums, which were played by longtime musician colleague Rob Ellis. The album was followed by a seven-month tour in support of it, during which Harvey attended several music festivals such as Glastonbury . During the tour, the performer invented the song of the same name with the album - βUh Huh Herβ, which was never recorded in the studio. The album was generally well received by critics, although it did not achieve the success of the previous recording of Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea . Uh Huh Her received silver status in the UK [1] and was nominated for a Grammy and BRIT Awards , but did not receive any of them.
