Biography
Orthodox, a peasant in the town of Pechora, Pechora parish, Bratslav district .
He graduated from Pechora one-class public school . Engaged in agriculture (10 acres of allotment land). In 1897-1906 he was a church headman in Pechory. Since 1906 he served as a volost foreman , was a member of a volost bank. He was a member of the Branclav County Zemstvo Council and the county land management commission. He was married, had six children.
In 1912 he was elected to the State Duma from the Podolsk province by a congress of commissioners from volosts. He was a member of the faction of Russian nationalists and moderate right (FNUP), after its split in August 1915 - among the supporters of P.N. Balashov . He was a member of the commissions: on the execution of the state list of income and expenses, on judicial reforms, on public education, financial, food, on measures to stop the abnormal rise in price of necessities.
After the February Revolution, he carried out the instructions of the Provisional Committee of the State Duma .
The further fate is unknown.
