The main features of the genre
The genre itself in terms of sound styling is a fusion of melodic metalcore and / or post-hardcore with various genres of electronic music, for example, dubstep [1] , drum and bass [6] , techno and trance [7] . From the “heavy side”, breakdowns , screaming [1] [8] [9], and sometimes growling are often used in electronic games . Also explosive pop choruses and pop dance pops are common. Currently, this genre is often mistakenly called post-hardcore and screamo , which is fundamentally wrong [10] . Enter Shikari is a British rock band formed in 1999 under the name "Hybryd" and changed its name in 2003, and is considered the pioneer of the electronicor genre. Other representatives: Asking Alexandria , Eskimo Callboy , Capture The Crown, Attack Attack! , Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas , I See Stars , Crossfaith , One Morning Left , Eternal Decline and others.
