Story
The season begins with a flash forward, which shows Jack's sunken boat and the dead body inside it.
In the first episode, the cliffhanger of the finale of the first season is resolved and the audience learns that Victoria Grayson escaped death during an airplane crash and is hiding in a cabin in the forest.

| A few months have passed since the events in the finale of the first season, and Emily returns to the Hamptons to find out what happened two decades ago with her mother. Meanwhile, the Graysons, whose financial situation is rapidly deteriorating, are organizing a memorial day for the deceased Victoria, during which Emily finds out that she is alive and hiding in a cabin in the forest. Conrad bribes Charlotte's doctor to be in the clinic, and Ashley is not happy about Emily's return, and meanwhile Jack is trying to stay afloat, taking care of pregnant Amanda and Declan. | ||||||

| After threats from a gray-haired man, Victoria, in order to protect Charlotte, who knows that she is alive, decides to return from the dead. Emily, who controlled the test, lies to Amanda, telling her that Jack is not the father of the child, and Aiden kills the gray-haired man when he tried to kill Emily. | ||||||

Daniel tries to take over the family business and listens to Ashley, who advises not to rush to trust Aiden. Emily wants to set Daniel against Ashley. In this, a video in which Ashley sleeps with Conrad will help her. She sends it to Victoria, who is furious. | ||||||

| All five districts of New York were plunged into darkness, along with the Hamptons. Emily finds her mentor a sword dead from a wound. The one who killed him was probably experienced. Daniel and Charlotte are in a quandary. Conrad orders his son to stay away from Grayson Global's offices. Declan is stunned by the news of Charlotte's pregnancy. Emily finds several photographs among Takeda's belongings. On the first is a beautiful Japanese woman. On the second - some kind of person. Emily thinks it could be a killer. She understands that the man she hopes to protect is the murderer of her mentor. Aiden relates that Takeda tried to kill Aiden when he threatened to expose him. Aiden is preparing to leave the city when he learns from Nolan that Emily was ready to give up revenge for love once. He is crushed to learn that she was ready to do this for Jack. Emily and Nolan try to save Jack by not letting him fall into the trap - Grayson Global office. When Conrad begins to make a speech, the campaign building explodes. Emily fears that Jack managed to go inside. | ||||||

| After the explosion, the street plunges into chaos. Emily bursts into the building to find Jack while Nolan tries to track his phone. Inside the building, Emily sees the legs of an injured man. Firefighters remove her before they manage to understand who it is. Charlotte is horrified to see a man, whom Emily saw, was taken out of a building on a stretcher. This is Declan. Aiden last time asks Emily to escape with him from all this revenge. He hands her the key to a distant villa in case she ever changes her mind. He kisses her goodbye. In the news, Emily sees Aiden being arrested. He is the ideological inspirer of cyber attacks on New York and the explosion of Grayson Global offices. Daniel hints to his mother that his father is to blame for the bombing. Jack sneaks into the hospital again to see Declan, but finds only Nolan. He learns that his brother's arteries are bursting. In Nolan’s office, the feds turn everything upside down. He is being arrested for crimes against his country. He is shown a video in which Padma calls him a blind apprentice of David Clark; an evil genius who wants to fulfill his judgment on the rest of the world. Emily doesn't let Jack shoot Conrad. He must have known that she was the real Amanda Clark. | ||||||
