Biography

From the nobles. Born on October 10, 1842 . At the end of the course of sciences at the Imperial College of Law in 1862 he entered the service in the 4th Department of the Governing Senate. In 1866 he was appointed assistant legal adviser to the consultation, established by the Ministry of Justice, and editor of the legislative department of the department of the Ministry of Justice. In 1869, he participated in a commission to complete the work on transforming the judicial part, on applying the basic provisions of the judicial system and legal proceedings to Siberia. In 1871, etc. legal adviser and was appointed a member from the ministry to the commission at the 2nd branch of His Imperial Majesty’s own chancellery to discuss the application of Article 621 and the charter on bills, and also a member of the commission at the military ministry to review the regulation on the administration of the Turkestan region. In 1876 he was appointed a member of the committee for the revision of the Cossack statutes, which was held at the headquarters of the regular troops. In 1877 he was appointed Chief Prosecutor of the Landing Governing Senate.

The following year he was transferred to the same position in the 1st branch of the 3rd department of the Senate. In 1879, he supervised the clerical work of the Volyn and Mogilev Chambers and the prosecutor's supervision of the Mogilev province. In 1880 he was sent to Kiev to clarify some issues relating to the koshta land surveying in the Kiev province. In 1881, he was appointed a member of the ministry to the commission under the Ministry of the Interior to discuss the issue of peasant settlements. In 1882, he was appointed chairman of the Ministry of Justice to the commission established by the Ministry of the Interior to clarify the rights and obligations of officials and their way of life.

In the same year, he was appointed Chief Prosecutor of the Civil Cassation Department of the Governing Senate. In 1886, he was appointed to be a member of the board of the issuing office of the Ministry of Justice as a member. In 1889, he was appointed senator to the civil cassation department. In 1890 he was transferred to the combined presence of the 1st and cassation departments of the Senate. In 1891, he was appointed representative of the Ministry of Justice on the commission to discuss the issue of measures to maintain noble land ownership. In 1895, he was appointed a member of the special presence at the State Council for the preliminary consideration of the Most Complainant complaints about the decisions of the Department of the Senate, as well as the presence in the highest disciplinary presence of the Governing Senate. He died on February 18, 1909 .
