Biography
Born on August 22, 1975 in the village of Bakhtinsky, Yaransky district, Kirov region, in a family of workers.
In 1990 he graduated from high school in the village of Shkalanka, Yaransky district, Kirov region. In 1990-1994 he studied at the pedagogical school of the village of Orshanka , Mari El Republic, specializing in "primary school teacher and organizer of extracurricular activities."
In 1994-1996 he was an altar boy and head of the Sunday school in the Assumption Cathedral of the city of Yaransk, Kirov Region.
On March 1, 1996, he was ordained deacon by the Archbishop of Vyatka and Slobodsky Chrysanthus (Chepil) in the Assumption Cathedral of Kirov.
On March 24 of the same year, he was ordained a priest in the Assumption Cathedral of the Year of Kirov by the same bishop and was appointed full-time clergyman of the Assumption Cathedral in Yaransk .
From February 2001 to July 2006 - rector of the Spassky Church in the village of Matvinur, Sanchursky District, Kirov Region.
From 2002 to 2007 he studied at the Moscow Theological Seminary in the distance learning sector.
From July 2006 to January 2012 - rector of the Resurrection Church in the village of Tuzha, Kirov Region.
In 2007 he was elevated to the rank of archpriest .
In 2007-2011 he studied at the Moscow Theological Academy in the distance learning sector.
Since January 2012 - the foreman of the Spassky Cathedral in Kirov. Since April 2012 - Dean of the First Vyatka District.
On September 7, 2012, Archbishop Mark of Vyatka and Slobodsky was tonsured a monk with the name Paisiy in honor of St. Paisius Velichkovsky .
On October 4, 2012, by decision of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church, he was elected bishop of Yaransky and Luzsky .
On October 14, 2012, in the Assumption Cathedral of the Trifonov Monastery, Metropolitan Vyatka and Slobodsky Mark was elevated to the rank of Archimandrite [1] .
