Igor Mikhailovich Sirenko (born 1940 ) is the founder and artistic director of the Moscow Drama Theater "Participation" . Honored Artist of the RSFSR ( 1979 ), Honored Artist of the Russian Federation ( 2004 ).

Biography
Born in the city of Zhdanov on December 8, 1940 .
In 1957 he entered the Moscow Circus School (course of People's Artist of the RSFSR M. S. Mestechkin , teacher - S. A. Kashtelyan), which he graduated with honors.
Soon, without passing exams in general subjects and without passing qualifying rounds, he was enrolled as the rector of the Theater School. B.V. Shchukin, People's Artist of the USSR B.E. Zakhava - for the course of teachers V.K. Lvov and L. M. Shikhmatov .
In 1965, Sirenko received an invitation from the artistic director of the theater. V. Mayakovsky People's Artist of the USSR N.P. Okhlopkova , on whose stage he made his debut in the role of Creon in the play "Oedipus Rex" by Sophocles .
In the period from 1979 to 1983, I. M. Sirenko - Director of the Moscow Drama Theater. A.S. Pushkin.
In 1983, in the direction of the Committee of Culture of Moscow, Sirenko was enrolled in the Higher Directing Courses at GITIS (now RITI) named after A.V. Lunacharsky to the department of People's Artist of the USSR E.R. Simonov , after graduating from which in 1984, the Committee on Culture of Moscow was sent to the Moscow Drama Theater. N.V. Gogol, where he took the post of the next director and was soon elected by the team to the post of director.
In 1990, with the support of the Committee on Culture of Moscow, the Moscow Drama Theater "Communion" was created, the artistic director of which was I. M. Sirenko.
