The Cave Village Council is a municipality with the status of a rural settlement and an administrative-territorial entity in the Zalesovsky district of the Altai Territory of Russia. The administrative center is the village of Peshcherka [1] [2] .

According to the results of the 2010 All-Russian population census , the population of the municipality was 1,443 people, including 720 men and 723 women [3] . The Rosstat estimate as of January 1, 2012 is 1395 people [4] .
