Protasovsky Village Council is a municipality with the status of a rural settlement and an administrative-territorial entity in the German national region of the Altai Territory of Russia. The administrative center is the village of Protasovo [1] [2] .

Demographics
According to the results of the 2010 All-Russian Population Census , the population of the municipality amounted to 1273 people, including 620 men and 653 women [3] . The Rosstat estimate as of January 1, 2012 is 1254 people [4] .

The composition of the rural settlement includes one settlement - the village of Protasovo.
