Topolinsky Village Council is a municipal entity with the status of a rural settlement and an administrative-territorial unit in the Soloneshensky District of the Altai Territory of Russia. The administrative center is the village of Topolny [1] [2] .

Demographics
According to the results of the All-Russian census of 2010 , the population of the municipality was 1,146 people, including 571 men and 575 women [3] . Rosstat's estimate for January 1, 2012 is 1106 people [4] .

The composition of the rural settlement includes 4 settlements:
- Elinovo village,
- Rybnoye village
- Tog-Altai ,
- village Topol .
Attractions
In 2004, one of the oldest archaeological monuments in Russia, the Karama site , which, according to preliminary estimates, is 600-800 thousand years old [8] [9] .
On the right bank of the Anuy River, 18 km above the village of Topolny, 15 km above the Karama site, Denisova Cave was discovered, the study of which made it possible to trace the development of human society in the region from the Stone Age to the ethnographic time and reveal the human subspecies of Denisov .
