Prince Ivan Ivanovich Shuisky (c. 1533 - 1573 ) - Russian statesman and military leader.
The son of Prince Andrei Mikhailovich Shuisky , who was killed by sovereigns of Ivan IV . According to the legend, the tutor of the prince took him away after the execution of his father at Beloozero, where they lived for several years, doing peasant labor. During the pilgrimage of Ivan IV in the Trinity-Sergius Lavra, a servant managed to beg forgiveness from the tsar for Ivan Andreevich [1] . Despite the attitude of Ivan IV to his father, Ivan Andreevich himself was never disgraced.
When in 1550 it was decided to single out “a thousand best servants” from the Gosudarev yard, Ivan Andreevich was included in it as “the son of the boyars of the third article with the lowest salary of 100 quarters of arable land. It was a great humiliation for Shuisky [2] .

Participated in the Novgorod campaign of Ivan the Terrible in December 1569 - January 1571 [4] . It is believed that he entered the oprichnina . In 1570 he headed the “coastal discharge” in Kashira and was the first voivode of the guard regiment [4] . In the spring of 1572, it is mentioned in the ranks as a boyar of “the use of the oprishnina” [4] . The first voivode of the regiment of the right hand in the march to the fortress of Weissenstein in 1572 - 73 years in the Livonian war . He died in the battle of Lod in the autumn of 1573 .
