Ponoy volost is an administrative-territorial unit of Kemsky , Kola (since 1899 - Alexandrovsky), Murmansk counties of the Arkhangelsk province and the Murmansk province of the RSFSR with a center in the village of Ponoy , which existed in 1861 - 1927 .

The Ponoy parish as part of the Kemsky district was formed in 1861 as the Ponoy rural community. In the late 1860s it became known as the volost. In 1883, the Ponoy volost entered the new Kola district (in 1899 it was renamed Alexandrovsky).
On March 1, 1920, the Ponoy volost was divided into village councils: Yokang , Kamensky, and Ponoy (abolished on October 12, 1920). In April 1921, Lumbovsky and Sosnovsky s / s arose.
In 1921, the Ponoy volost entered the new Murmansk province.
January 20, 1922 was restored Ponoisky s / s.
On August 1, 1927, the Ponoisk parish was abolished. Its entire territory entered the Ponoy district .
