Geography

The village is located in the eastern part of the city ​​district of Krasnodar . It is bounded on the north-western side by the Krasnodar-Korenovsk railway, behind which the Industrialny village is located, on the southern and eastern sides the village is surrounded by fields located on the territory of the city of Krasnodar .

In the village there are 32 streets and 1 lane.

History

The village of Loris was founded in 1888 and named after the outstanding Russian military leader and statesman, governor-general, and minister of the interior of the Empire, Mikhail Loris-Melikov .

In 1977, Loris received the status of a village and was renamed the Zonalny village and represented the scientific and production base of the agricultural complex.

(Official extract) March 11, 1977. The Executive Committee of the City Council appropriated the names of settlements located on the territory of the Leninsky, Pervomaisky and Sovetsky districts of the city of Krasnodar (previously they were listed “nameless”, like the villages of various farms): Kolosisty (the village of the experimental production farm named after P. Lukyanenko KNIISH), Birch, Azure, Industrial, Russian, Winner, Friendly, Fertile, Zonal (Loris) , Znamensky and Zelenopolsky.

The return of the name Loris to the Zonalnoye settlement took place according to the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of July 6, 2011 No. 544 “On renaming of the geographical object in the Krasnodar Territory”.

Infrastructure

There are more than two dozen shops, a post office, a railway station, a clinic, a culture center, a secondary school and two kindergartens in the village.

The main enterprise of the village is Krasnodar Poultry Factory LLC.
