Izvoare ( mold. Izvoare ) is a village in the Synzherey district of Moldova . It is the administrative center of the municipality of Izvoire , which also includes the village of Valea Norokului [5] .

History
The settlement arose as a locality of the state farm "Balti". On June 11, 1964, the settlement was given the status of a village and the name Ozernoe. On January 22, 1992, by the decision of the Government of the Republic of Moldova No. 882, the village was renamed Izvoara.
Geography
The village is located at an altitude of 141 meters above sea level [1] .

According to the 2004 census , 482 people live in the village of Izvoara (236 men, 246 women) [2] .
