Tripodion ( lat. Tripodion ) is a monotypic genus of herbaceous plants of the legume family ( Fabaceae ), closely related to the genus Uglyaznik ( Anthyllis L. ), which may be included by some taxonomists.

Annual plant up to 50 cm tall. Leaves are pinnate, composed of 5 (rarely 1-3) leaf fragments, shaggy on both sides; leaf fragments 1-3 cm long and 6-25 mm wide, from oval to lanceolate. Flowers 15-20 mm in axillary inflorescences with 1-8 flowers. Corolla 16-18 x 4 mm, pale yellow. Fruits are 6-11 x 4-5 mm, ovoid and compressed, slightly hairy, with 1-2 seeds, slightly narrowed between the seeds. Seeds 2-3 (3.5) x 2.8-3.5 (4.5) mm, hilly.
The species is common in the Mediterranean. It inhabits meadows, open shrubs at an altitude of 0 to 1100 meters above sea level. Blossoms and bears fruit from March to June.
