Geographical position
The area is located in the eastern coastal part of the island of Hirvensalo , overlooking the Archipelago Sea .
Population
The area is sparsely populated. In 2004, the population was 630 people, of which 26.03% were children under 15 years old and 12.22% were over 65 years old. 87.62% spoke Finnish as their mother tongue, 9.68% spoke Swedish, and 2.70% spoke of others.
