Born on August 27, 1931 in the city of Kamenskoye, Dnipropetrovsk region.

In 1955 he graduated from Odessa Hydrotechnical Institute with a degree in hydraulic engineering.

  • 1949 - 1951 - locksmith of the Dnepropetrovsk Metallurgical Plant named after F.E. Dzerzhinsky.
  • 1955 - 1959 - third, second, senior assistant to the baghermeister of the Tikhvinka and Zeya excavation caravan; since 1956 - head of the Svir and Tikhvinka excavation caravan in the Daltechflot trust, Nakhodka .
  • 1959 - 1975 - worked in the Yugozapaptransstroy trust: senior work manager of the 9th construction site in Lviv , deputy head, head of construction department No. 150, deputy manager, trust manager, Kiev .
  • 1975 - 1985 - Deputy, First Deputy Minister of Transport Construction of the USSR.
  • 1985 - 1991 - Minister of Transport Construction of the USSR.
