Geography
The village is located in the north of Serdobsky district. The distance to the administrative center of the village council of the village of Kirovo is 2 km, the distance to the district center of Serdobsk is 38 km.
History
According to the studies of the historian - local historian Poluboyarov M.S., the village was founded in the late XVIII - early XIX centuries as part of the Chembarsky district of the Penza province . Since 1877 - the village of Golodyaevsky volost of the Chembarsky district, since 1896 - the village of Gryaznukha of the Golodyaevsky volost. In 1955 - in the Kirov Village Council of the Svishchevsky District of the Penza Region, after the abolition of which in 1959 it was transferred to Serdobsky District [2] . In 1960, by the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR, the village of Kirey-Gryaznukha was renamed New [3] .
