Geography
The village is located in the north of Serdobsky district. The distance to the administrative center of the village council of the village of Kirovo is 13 km, the distance to the district center of Serdobsk is 41 km. [one]
History
According to the research of the historian - local historian Poluboyarov M.S., the village was founded between 1926 and 1939 , in 1955 - in the Svishchevsky district of the Penza region, in 1957 it was transferred to Serdobsky district. [1] . Since January 1, 2015, Maisky village has been excluded from the registration data of the administrative-territorial structure of the Penza region as the settlement ceased to exist due to the lack of a registered population [2] .
