This area is described for the first time in the scribe book of 1498/99 as part of the Nikolsky Moldinsky churchyard of Bezhetskaya pyatina . In the second half of the XVIII century in Moldin, the landowner was Klementy Pyzhov (a participant in the war with Poland from 1754-1757). Since 1773, a church was built in the village in the name of the Assumption of the Mother of God, which has survived to this day in a rather dilapidated state [2] . In the middle of the XIX century, part of the village of Moldino was owned by the landowners Milyukovs. Their serf Grigory Soroka (Vasiliev) was known as a talented landscape painter and portrait painter, student of A.G. Venetsianov . In Soviet times, it was the central estate of the Moldino collective farm, which was headed by E.A. Petrov for more than 50 years [3] .
