Biography

In 1961 he graduated from the Yerevan Art College. F. Terlemezyan, in 1967 - painting department of the Yerevan Art and Theater Institute .

In 1967-1976 he worked as a production designer at the Armenian Television Studio. Since 1970 - a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR , in 1977-1987. - Secretary of the Board of the Union of Artists of Armenia, in 1978-1987. - Member of the Board of the Union of Artists of the USSR.

Since 1965, his paintings were exhibited in Russia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Austria, India, the USA, Finland, France, Germany and other countries.

The works of A. Ya. Grigoryan are kept in the State Tretyakov Gallery , in the State Art Gallery of Armenia , in the Museum of Modern Art of Yerevan, in the Kirovakan Art Gallery, in the funds of the Ministry of Culture, the Union of Artists of Russia and Armenia, in private collections.
