Story

On the hillock, in a poor hut, lived an old grandfather, Vaska - a cat and Petya - a miracle cockerel. Lived - did not grieve, they collected bread from their field. Suddenly it started to rain with lightning and thunder, it poured for a long time and flooded the roads. Then my grandfather discovered that the flour was over. There is grain, but it is impossible to grind. Petya, the miraculous cockerel, was talking and told his grandfather that there was a wonderful mountain nearby and if you wholeheartedly ask for it, it would give the millstones. So they did. Grandfather took the millstones and made a rotisserie mill, poured grain into it and launched it, saying these words: “More wings, more wings. Give, give silushki. Two buddies-buddies - Inseparable millstones. ” The mill began to spin, but not flour spilled out of it, but pancakes and pies. They began to eat and praise the mill. King Andros rode past. King Andros - long nose, hands raking, eyes envious. I saw a hut, stopped my carriage and demanded to treat with bread and salt. Grandfather launched the mill and began to treat. And the greedy king Andros stole his miracle mill from the good old man and rode away. Petya-cockerel flew after, flew to the palace, sat on the fence and shouted loudly: “You, robber-thief, give our mill back! And I’ll not bite, I’ll get a long nose with a claw, it’s bad, so know! ”Tsar Andros ordered the servants to seize the rooster and drown it in the well. The servants did just that. But the Cockerel was not at a loss: he drank all the water, got out and again began to shout and threaten. The king ordered to light a fire in the furnace and toss a rooster there. But even here the cockerel was not at a loss: he poured fire on the water drunk in the well and escaped from the stove, then took off and penetrated the chamber through the chimney to the tsar. All black from soot, he began to fly after the king, peck at him, grabbed the mill and flew back to his grandfather. Tsar Andros chased after him, but fell from the bridge into the river. Seeing the fall of Tsar Andros, his grandfather put it this way: "Share the flour with the villain, science is for all the robbers!" Since then, not knowing the troubles, grandfather peacefully lived with friends.
