Okaravu
Okaravu , Vokaravu ( Kann . ಒಕಾರವು ) - the letter of the Kannada alphabet, denotes the short vowel “O” (a ruined vowel of the back row of the middle-upper rise , Sanskrit Hrasva swara o), at the beginning of a word in colloquial language, as well as the Armenian letter Va may have the sound "B". Inside the word is transmitted with the help of svarachikhinam otva , consisting of etva and kombu dirga ೊ. A distinctive feature of the Telugu and Kannada alphabet is the graphic proximity (homoglyphy) of the letters "Ba" and "O" ( ಬ - ಒ ).
